|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For his first session today we worked on Kongs quoits skill. Since he is progressing well with this skill we decided to really test him. We only rewarded him if the ring landed on the base, didn’t have to be on the pole but just hit the base. This seemed to really frustrate Kong but he figured it out and had lots of successful attempts. Keep pushing this one, working on certain criteria each time!||Focus: Foundation||C+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For his second session today Kong worked on something fun! We used the large wobble board and used it as a sort of place skill! To start with we had to build his confidence with it by luring him on. Once he figured out how to do it he did really well, it is difficult because it moves under his weight but he could still do it. This is a great one to build his balance more and also incorporate different objects into his place skill!||Focus: Confidence||B+|
|Skill learnt: Middle Position||Comment: For his last session today Kong worked on his middles skill at different angles. Kong has progressed lots with this skill so we were able to test him. We tried lots of different angles including facing him front on, this tested him. We had to lure him through our legs (the wrong way) and then back around to come through (the right way). This means that although we are facing him the quickest route is to go through and back around. Keep messing around with this one, he seems to really enjoy it.||Focus: Foundation||B|
