Kong worked well but liked to push the boundaries with a new trainer but overall he was a good boy!

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For Kong’s first session the trainer worked on his loose lead along side of Mojo. At first Kong was very distracted and as it was a new trainer for him he did push boundaries a bit. However, as the session progressed Kong settled and was not distracted around Mojo as he was earlier. He continued walking well without pulling to get to Mojo.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Drops was Kong’s second session and again this was around a number of other dogs including Mojo. Although Kong knows the command he was not dropping at the start, the trainer applied a bit of pressure and Kong started getting in position on command. He did want to break position a couple of times, however towards the end of the session Kong was holding it well under distraction||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Kong’s final session was place. Again this was a skill he knows but he did struggle to hold position with other dogs and people in the room. Kong got a bit vocal when he didn’t want to stay on place and would break. He was getting distracted by the other dogs. The trainer continued to work with him and putting him back on place when he did break and reward with the yes marker. Next time the trainer would like to work with Kong to help him resist those distractions and continue to proof that skill.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
