Kong did fantastic work at training today. He had great focus in all of his sessions and has improved since last time. To address his people reactivity issues we strongly recommend booking a private appointment with us as he did not display the behaviour in the classroom today.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For his first session we worked on Kong's loose lead skill outside. We started off on the pavement but he did such a good job we quickly moved to the grassy area. Kong did some amazing work on the grass today - he had fantastic engagement, walked very nicely and even did all of the drops he was asked to right away. So proud of his effort today, well done!||Focus: Distraction||A|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For his second session we worked on Kong's drops as well as conditioning him to people. For the first half of the session we had Kong in a drop while trainers were active around him with a variety of items and costumes - he broke drop once or twice but didn't react negatively to any of the distractions (he more wanted to play with the trainers). After this half we walked around the classroom and worked on his emergency drops - he was so much better than usual with this and only didn't go into drop once. His drops were also much quicker than usual which was awesome!||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Ring a Bell||Comment: For his last session we worked on Kong's bell trick as something fun to finish with. Kong started off trying to use his nose but after a few goes went to using his paw. We worked on refining the skill as he does still try and pull it towards him instead of just ringing it so we rewarded him for just the quick touch to ring it.||Focus: Repetition||B+|
