Kong's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Kong’s first session today was all about red-light-green-light drops. To do this we have a really good play, run around and cuddles then all of a sudden ask for a drop. Kong smashed this, he really enjoyed doing his zoomies with the trainer and then dropping for a treat! This is a great way to burn some energy and also teach them some impulse control, developing an on and off switch. Kong seemed really happy to be outside in the sunshine so we made the most of it! Focus: Distraction A
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Kong’s second session was at the pony club again, this time we focused on his place training but using random platforms. We used flat horse jumps, rocks, filled in tyres and more. It’s good to test the knowledge of their place skill to see if they can relate it to things other than a raised bed. Once kong investigated the object and sniffed it to make sure it was secure he had no troubles at all! He would jump on, get his treat and happily remain there until released, even with silly trainer distractions! Focus: Distraction A
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: Kong’s last session today was a pamper session in the bath. After all his hard work he deserved a good massage and to smell pretty! He is such a good boy in the bath and sat down and took it all in! He did so well today and hopefully he is tired, because he worked very hard! Focus: Conditioning A+
