Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Session one with Kong we practiced his skill of quoits. Kong is getting better at this skill each session! This session the trainer focused on the jack pot method by giving Kong multiple treats the closer he got the ring to the quoits pole. Kong as the session progressed got better and caught the idea of the game. The more practice with this skill the better kong will get. Focus: Repetition B+
Skill learnt: Sit Comment: Session two with Kong we practiced his skill of sit pretty. The trainer focused on getting him to sit pretty with his bum fully on the floor focusing on his duration. The trainer having him treat by treat to build it. Kong is doing well, the next step is to decrease the lure. Focus: Duration A
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: Session three with Kong we practiced his paw shake. Kong did amazing! He had great engagement with the trainer and listened very well to the verbal cue “shake”. This session the trainer worked on this skill around higher distractions to test his skill. Kong did really well throughout the session. Focus: Duration A+
