|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In his first session, Kong focused on further developing his skill 'loose lead' walking with repetitions under distractions (training outside while the gardner was mowing). Kong was initially distracted by the new activity outside, but with some guidance he quickly began to redirect his focus onto the trainer. Once engaged Kong performed very well and he walk beautifully. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home, focusing on engagement.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his second session, Kong focused on further developing his skill 'drop' with beginning to learn 'emergency drops' with repetitions under distractions (training outside while Mojo was in close proximity). Kong performed very well, he continued to drop despite the trainer continuing to walk. This is a great safety skill we would recommend you continue to practise at home.||Focus: Duration||A|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In his final session, Kong focused on further developing his skill 'spin' with repetitions within the classroom environment (with Mojo in close proximity). We focused on this skill to help build engagement. Kong performed very well, he followed a lure around in a circle, he successfully completed many spins throughout this session. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home to build engagement.||Focus: Foundation||B+|
