Kombi's Doggy Dayschool Report

2024-02-26

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For his first session we worked on loose lead outside around Beani. Kombi walked quite nicely though had a few pulls particularly around certain smells. We were able to walk the boys quite close together without Kombi pulling or reacting (though Beani had some small pulls towards Kombi). A great next step would be to attend a first Timers casual class with both of them to work them around each other with owners present! Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: For his second session we worked on place outside on the grass with a focus of send to. Kombi was a bit slow with this - he could only be sent to place from a small step away, anything further and he would stop short or just lie down in front of the bed. This is a good skill to keep working on in case you need to send the boys away from each other so work on his send to distance at home. Focus: Distance C+
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: For his last session we were going to do his wave but he wasn't very focused so we continued with the paws up skill. Kombi was very cheeky with this today, he kept grabbing and pulling the bucket towards him rather than stepping on it. It took about half the session for him to start doing it properly so we only worked on repetition with it today. I think he may have tired himself out being silly next to Beani in the kennels today! Focus: Repetition C+

We recommend your next step should be…
