Kombi was a bit cheeky with some of his skills today but did really well for a warm day! He and Beani are so good around each other now, keep up the great work!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|We focused on
|Skill learnt: Trick Training
|Comment: For his first session we started working on wave before Kombi got too tired. Kombi wasn't interested in doing the skill to start off with but after some bribing with fritz he did improve quite a bit (he needed to see the Fritz first before doing the skill, it wasn't enough to just get the Fritz after!). We started off with some shake/paw to warm him up and then worked on the wave. He is quite good at picking his paw up for the wave but still hangs it there a bit instead of moving it for the wave so keep shaping it at home (if he does more energetic movements with it give him a big reward!).
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down
|Comment: For his second session we worked on loose lead and drop around Beani in the classroom. Kombi and Beani were both so good, they kept their focus on their respective trainers and really didn't care about the other ones presence. Kombi was a bit cheeky with staying in his drops but otherwise did really well this session.
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down
|Comment: For his last session we worked in the classroom with Kombi tethered to a corner to work on his sits and drops at a distance. He did better with his sits today, he didn't mix them up as much today but did still do a few drops when asked for sits. We praticed at a distance and also having the trainer walking back and forth at the distance asking for sits and drops which he also did well with. Drop is definitely the stronger one for him at a distance so keep mixing it up between them to make sure he is focusing.
