|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Kodan’s first session today was loose lead walking. The trainer did this around the property and Kodan did struggle a little bit today. However the trainer changed direction when Kodan pulled and he started to refocus towards the end.||Focus: Distraction||C|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: To change things up for Kodan the trainer started teaching Kodan the spin trick. This is a great trick to use to help get a dogs focus back on a handler. Kodan did well and worked well being lured in the spin. There was another dog in the classroom and although at times Kodan was a little distracted but did such a fantastic job! Next time the trainer will start to fade the lure.||Focus: Repetition||C|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Final session for Kodan was drops. The trainer did this in the car park. While Kodan was being trained and a stranger entered the property to inspect the meter. He did talk to the trainer both times. Kodan stayed in a drop and although interested he did not react. It was awesome to see after reacting previously to other dogs and people. Well done!||Focus: Distraction||B+|
