Our feedback
Koda had a fun day working on his obedience skills with a new trainer. It took him a bit of time to engage, but when he had he did very well.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

Skill | Comment | We focused on | Grade |
---|---|---|---|
Skill learnt: Place Training | Comment: Koda started the day with his place skill. Koda worked on this just outside the classroom within sight of his brother. At the start of the lesson, Kodas engagement was lacking a bit as he ignored his trainer stepping off the bed. After a minute of repetition, Koda was dialed into the task, doing what the trainer asked if him. His brother took his attention a bit but this didn't make him stop the skill. He would step off before his release word every now and then but would quickly continue the skill when reminded. | Focus: Distraction | B |
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down | Comment: Koda had great engagement this whole lesson, staying right next to his trainer's side while practising his emergency drops. He would periodically not go down into the drop immediately when asked but had a reliable drop the rest of the lesson. We practiced this outside the classroom on the walkway as well as the grassy area to add in even more distractions. | Focus: Obedience | B+ |
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) | Comment: Koda finished his day with his loose lead walking. We took a walk around the facility, making sure Koda was keeping a loose lead. He walked ahead, hitting the end if the lead a couple of times but spent the majority if the lesson right by his trainer's side. | Focus: Obedience | B+ |
