Koda's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: We started off the day working on Koda's lead manners and loose lead skill. He was very excited so we focused on door manners for the first few minutes as he kept trying to barge through. When we were outside we started with some engagement games as he was still unfocused. As soon as he started to settle and engage more with the trainer we were able to then continue loose lead walking in the busy carpark. Settling him down and focusing on engagement prior to the walk worked really well and developed better engagement with Koda. Focus: Back to Basics B
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: This session focused on Koda's send to place skill with distance. So the idea is that no matter how far you are from the bed, you should be able to send the dog to it. We started increasing distance when sending him to the bed by little steps. We managed to achieve 1.5m this session as there were lots of people and dog distractions within the room. This was great effort on Koda's behalf! Focus: Distance B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: Koda has made huge improvements with his drop skill! We really put it to the test today and used the busy carpark with dog distractions walking by. Even with a very energetic labrador walking past he remained in the drop. Amazing work! Focus: Duration B+

We recommend your next step should be…
