Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: In Kobe’s first session today we trained drops in the kitchen, I was still in kennel duty so while waiting for people to arrive thought I’d smash out so sessions. He was very excited and did struggle to hold his drops but after awhile he calmed down and was fantastic, he was still getting distracted abit but that’s all good. In his next level I’d like to work on this more with him and try different environments more. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: In Kobe’s second session today we trained Loose Lead walking, we tried to go outside but he wasn’t engaging what so ever. And it’s easier to try and keep the engagement then trying to get it back again. He didn’t do to bad in the classroom he was abit distracted but eventually we got his engagement and he was abit better. This takes a lot of practice for dogs to walk on a lead properly. Focus: Duration C+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: In Kobe’s last session today we trained Loose lead again and abit of place, I want to work on LL as much as possible but then added in place because he started to lose interest. His loose lead was better this time more engaged, but then lost it half way through. Focus: Duration B
