Knox's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: We started with some loose lead walking around some workmen unloading biscuits (great distraction). Knox was quite excitable around these people initially but after working on his engagement and turns he stated to engage nicely. We also practiced some auto sits every now and then, making sure he didn’t flop onto his side while sitting. Focus: Distraction A
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: This session we worked on his drops but focusing on him not swinging his hips to one side. We also mixed in some paws up and doggy yoga to help him build strength and utilise his muscles. We practiced sit to drop to stand and other variations, this helps him keep his feet in the same position but he engages different muscles for different positions. He did well, you can have fun with this - think of it as yoga, lots of different positions and how to get him into it and helping him hold the best form. Focus: Conditioning A+
Skill learnt: Recall Comment: Lastly we went outside to have some fun with his recalls. We used a long line, waited for him to get distracted then recalled him back to us. Knox did well the only thing he struggled with was when another trainer tempted him with cuddles, Knox took a little longer to respond than usual. Keep working on this at home, he is showing awesome improvement. Focus: Distraction B
