Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For his first session we took Knox next door to work on his loose lead. He did very well with his loose lead (only got distracted sniffing grass a few times) and we continued some work on his heel - particularly improving his focus and engagement on the trainer while walking. He would do well if prompted to look at the trainer but this could use a bit more work to get that high level of focus required for heelwork. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: For his second session we continued work on the Pony Club oval with recalls and emergency drops during loose lead. Knox smashed out his recalls, even doing great recalls over the jumps and finished in a lovely sit position each time. He was pretty good with his emergency drops but could be slow or hesitant in them if the trainer kept walking after saying "down" so keep working on these. Overall good job Knox! Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: For his last session we worked Knox's brain by continuing to work on his hold skill. Initially he was just mouthing it slightly or pawing at it but after some repetitions he was starting to mouth onto it properly so we started encouraging him to bite onto it and hold it for a brief second out of the trainer's hand. He did good with this though would chuck the item around sometimes so keep working on having him hold it calmly in his mouth for a brief second before rewarding. Focus: Duration C+

We recommend your next step should be…
