Kipi did struggle with his focus on the muzzle today. His duration still needs work - at home get him conditioned to the muzzle while he is on lead and on place to help him get used to it.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Muzzle Conditioning||Comment: As Kipi was outside for his first session today (as the classroom was occupied) we took it easy with his muzzle work. While he was on place we just asked for repeated attempts at putting his nose into the muzzle. He was quite distracted for the first few minutes but then started interacting with the muzzle. He wasn't able to keep good focus on it though and we did have to lure him a few times.||Focus: Repetition||B|
|Skill learnt: Muzzle Conditioning||Comment: For his second session we were back in the classroom. Our focus for this session was to increase his duration in the muzzle. He did do well for some of them but often would only put it in for the brief second. We also did a little bit of conditioning with the strap which he tolerated well..||Focus: Duration||C+|
|Skill learnt: Muzzle Conditioning||Comment: For his last session Kipi was not very engaged with the muzzle. He would turn his head away and refuse to look at it. We did it a few times and then let him settle on place for most of the session.||Focus: Repetition||C|
