Kipi performed very well today, he impressed the trainers with his confidence surrounding the muzzle. Keep practicing his skills at home.

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his first session Kipi focused on further developing his skill 'drop' with repetition under distraction (training within the kennel area). We focused on this skill in this environment to help him relax. Kipi performed well, he initially struggled to drop within this environment but with some guidance he began to perform well, showing good engagement and having good duration. The trainer was able to leave the kennel while he remained in drop. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home.||Focus: Conditioning||B|
|Skill learnt: Muzzle Conditioning||Comment: In his second session, Kipi focused on learning the new skill 'muzzle' with repetitions within the classroom. We focused on this as a safety skill. Kipi performed very well, he interacted with the muzzle straight away, beginning to place his nose inside. Kipi was happily placing his nose in and out of the muzzle, slowly beginning to add duration. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home.||Focus: Foundation||A|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In his final session, Kipi focused on further developing his skill 'place' with high distractions (two dogs training within the classroom, one dog barking). We focused on this skill to build his impulse control and implied duration. Kipi performed very well, he did not break place despite these high distractions. We suggest continuing to challenge Kipi at home.||Focus: Distraction||A|
