Kipi is progressing well with building his confidence, he can still struggle to relax within the classroom and around the trainers. We would suggest a private session to help keep Kipi progressing in the right direction and to address his other behavioural issues (resource guarding).
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In his first session, Kipi focused on conditioning the classroom and trainers while on 'place' with a lickimat. We focused on this skill to help Kipi settle within the classroom and begin his training quietly and calmly. Kipi responded very well to the Lickimat, he settled quickly and did not break place during this session. Next time we hope Kipi is settled within the classroom without the use of 'place' and a lickimat.||Focus: Conditioning||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In his second session the trainer focused on further developing his skill 'around' with repetitions under distractions (another dog training opposite cone). We focused on this skill to further develope his confidence. Kipi performed very well, the trainer was able to slowly fade the lure and begin pointing at the cone and using the verbal cue 'around'. Kipi performed well despite the new challenge, kipi successfully ignored all distraction and remained engaged with his trainer.||Focus: Foundation||C+|
|Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object)||Comment: In his final session, Kipi focused on further developing his skill 'Paws up' on different objects (step, balance cushion and balance ball). We focused on this skill to improve Kipi's confidence. Kipi performed very well, he successfully touched and interacted with each object straight away. He also followed the command 'paws up' to place his front to paws on the object. The trainer was blown away with his performance during this session.||Focus: Conditioning||B+|
