Kipi performed well today, he struggled a little with the heat but showed great progress.

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In his first session, Kipi focused on further developing his skill 'send to place' with repetitions within the classroom. Kipi performed very well, he has great distance with his send to place, but he can struggle when distractions are added. Next time we would like to continue challenging him with distractions. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In his second session, Kipi focused on further developing his skill ' hanky' with repetitions within the classroom. We focused on this skill to build engagement and continue his understanding of the skill. Kipi was initially hesitant to interact with the hanky, but with some guidance he quickly began to pull on it. Once engaged Kipi performs very well with this skill, he does require a high reinforcement schedule (treat every time he interacts with hanky) to progress at the moment. We suggest continuing to practices this skill at home.||Focus: Foundation||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In his final session, Kipi focused on learning the new skill 'chin rest' with repetitions within the classroom. We focused on this skill as Kipi can struggle with being touched. Kipi performed very well, he followed a lure to rest his chin on the trainer’s hand. This lure was quickly faded and when the trainer’s hand was presented Kipi imminently rested his chin. We suggest continuing to practice this skill at home.||Focus: Foundation||B|
