|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Muzzle Conditioning||Comment: In his first session, Kipi focused on further developing his skill 'muzzle ' with repetitions. Kipi performed well, he placed his nose into the muzzle straight away, however he quickly removes his nose. The trainer focused on increasing his duration in the muzzle without constant treats. With some guidance he slowly began to increase his duration in the muzzle. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home.||Focus: Duration||B+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In his second session, kipi focused on learning the new skill 'targeting a tug' with repetitions. We focused on this skill to begin encouraging Kipi to play while training. Kipi performed very well, he interacted with the tug straight away, touching it with his nose. Kipi quickly began to reliably touch the tug. We suggest continuing to practice this skill at home.||Focus: Foundation||A|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his final session, Kipi focused on further developing his skill ‘emergency drop’ with repetitions outside. kipi struggled to engage with his trainer, as the environment was very distracting. As the session progressed, he began to slowly redirect his focus onto the trainer. However, he continued to struggle to drop in this environment. We suggest continuing to practice this skill at home.||Focus: Foundation||C+|
