King was a very good boy for his first Dayschool!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: king did extremely well at his first session of place. He showed no reactivity and had great focus on the trainer. We rewarded frequently to reward place for duration due to being in a new environment with many distractions.||Focus: Conditioning||C+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Drop is a really important skill and it can be used in emergency situations out in public or at home, it gives the dog a job to do and encourages them to settle. Kind showed no knowledge of this skill so the trainers went back to basics. When introducing this skill to king the trainer lured him from standing into the drop, then building duration using treat rewards until he was released. He was very distracted to begin with and broken the drop often but showed progress as the session continued.||Focus: Back to Basics||C|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: King had a bit of energy at first which led to pulling. With proper guidance he started to understand the foundations of loose lead and progressed well in the low distracting environment. He still has a long way to go but King is very intelligent and we can see he is eager to learn, we are so proud of his progress these first sessions.||Focus: Back to Basics||C+|
