Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Place: sent to with distance. Kimchi performed well in this skill by the end of the session. We started off at a short distance and she had no issues with this. We then changed onto a longline lead and she was still able to be sent to place however it would sometimes take her time to get to place. She would wander a bit on the way to place and once she realised we stopped providing treats for this behaviour she quickly fixed it and went straight to place. Focus: Distance B
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Place: Red Light/Green Light. She did really well in this and went to place every time asked. We used toys to increase distractions plus other dogs were in the room and she had no issue going to place when told. She was also very enthusiastic when sent to place. Focus: Distraction A
Skill learnt: Middle Position Comment: We started with the very basics of middles just trying to get her comfortable with going through my legs. We used treats as a lure and she was really struggling at the start. Even with the lure she would get to the side of my leg and just drop. After a while she picked it up and was good at being lured around my leg and then held her attention on me while standing between my legs. Focus: Foundation B

We recommend your next step should be…
