Kimchi was such a happy girl at training today! She gave her all in every skill but needed to occasionally slow down and focus a bit more.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For her first session we took Kimchi outside to work on her loose lead while the carpark was busy. Kimchi took several minutes to settle and focus on the trainer when walking on the grass. Once she had good engagement with the trainer we worked on her emergency drops while jogging - she did quite well with this but was a bit slow on it once or twice. As she is quite used to red light/green light she got energetic very quickly while jogging but still mostly stayed next to the trainer with a loose lead.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Middle Position||Comment: For her second session we worked on Kimchi's middles skill from last week. Kimchi really enjoyed practicing this skill though she does get a little overenthusiastic and shoot a little bit too far through the trainer's legs before stopping! Having the legs close together seems to help her remember to stop and we were able to start work on slightly increasing the angle of the position from her starting point.||Focus: Distance||B+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: For her last session we worked on her around skill to help with some of her speedy energy. Kimchi showed good knowledge of foundations in this skill and was able to go around the cone with some very light guiding. We focused on getting her to the point of being able to do the full lap around the cone by just pointing at the cone and saying "around". She was able to do this most of the time but did occasionally wander off mid-lap.||Focus: Repetition||B|
