|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: Session one with Kiko we started with some engagement games in the classroom. Kiko was rather nervous and had her tail tucked underneath herself when the trainer took her into the classroom. Because of this we started with engagement games with kibble and fritz, Kiko was very keen on fritz not so much on kibble. This was done by throwing treats near Kiko every time she looked at the trainer. By doing this kiko had a lot better engagement with the trainer and showed more confidence and less fear in the classroom.||Focus: Confidence||B+|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For session two we started with kikos loose lead skill. Kiko preformed great loose lead in the kennel environment following the trainer with a lure occasionally! The trainer moved outside and Kiko adjusted nicely showing great engagement and loose lead skill. Although when practicing loose lead in the classroom Kiko was a little less engaged and she was a little shy.||Focus: Distraction||A|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For session three with Kiko we practiced her drop skill. Kiko showed she didn’t know drop already so the trainer started by using some fritz as a lure and lured her into a drop. This was done by putting the treat at her nose and pushing diagonally until she fell into a drop. Kiko did very well at this skill, the trainer started fading the lure which Kiko adapted well to!||Focus: Back to Basics||A+|
