Kali did so well today!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Targeting (touch)||Comment: Session one with Kali we practiced his “Touch” skill. This session the trainer focused on getting him to touch a post it note and then moving it around to different locations in the classroom. Kali was less keen on touching the post it note rather then the touch stick which is what the trainer aimed on working on through the session. This skill can lead into a bigger skill! The trainer was hoping to aim towards Kali turning on and off a light switch!||Focus: Repetition||A+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: Session two with Kali we practiced his skill of drop using play. Kali really loves his toys so this skill is great to strengthen his drops. The trainer razzed Kali up with toys playing around then asked for a drop. Kali went straight into the drop quickly!! This was amazing to see from him. He was then rewarded by play again. This was repeated through the session.||Focus: Distraction||A+|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: Session three with Kali we worked on his quoits skill. Kali is now grabbing the ring by himself! Although he still isn’t tossing the ring this is definitely improvement. The trainer worked on rewarding him for grabbing the ring and when he dropped it he was rewarded the closer it was to the pole. Kali is getting better and better, this skill just needs practice and Kali will slowly understand.||Focus: Repetition||A+|
