Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: In his first session, Kali focused on further developing his skill Quoits, working on developing his skill hold. Kali was excited to be training today, he was so excited he initially struggled to show engagement. However, as the session progressed he began to redirect his focus. Kali interacts with the ring well, he touches it with his nose then quickly begins to open his mouth on it, which is a great step in the right direction Focus: Foundation B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: In his second session, Kali focused on learning the new skill of skateboarding within the classroom. We focused on this skill to boost his confidence and for some fun. Kali performed well, he interacted with the skateboard straight away, he followed a lure to place his two front feet onto the skateboard. As the session progressed, he quickly began to require less of a lure and began to take one or two steps when on the skateboard. Focus: Foundation B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: In his final session, Kali focused on further developing his skill drop with the training game red light, green light. This game includes playing tug with Kali, then asking for drop. He initially struggled to stop playing and go into the drop position. However, as the session progressed he began to release the toy and move into the drop position. Kali enjoyed this session as he was able to have fun. Focus: Obedience B+
