Jussi was a bit slow and unfocused to start off with but really improved throughout his sessions.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Jussi was very slow and not engaged for most of this first session (only started focusing in the last few minutes). His loose lead was quite slow and he was easily distracted by things he wanted to explore in the classroom. His spins needed lures for the start but he was able to complete most on his own. At the end when he was more focused his spins were a lot neater. Jussi can struggle with engagement so focusing on that in the classroom will help improve his skills.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Sit||Comment: Jussi was a little hesitant with his sits at the start but after bringing out my stern aunty voice he was a lot more responsive. Initially he needed hand signals with a minor lure to focus but by the end of the session was doing a lot better with mostly verbal only sits. His duration in sit was quite good and he only slipped down into a drop once. He maintained his sit with movement and instrument distractions.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object)||Comment: For his last session we worked on paws up and extending it to 4 paws on the wooden block. Initially Jussi was a bit confused at what was wanted but after a while he got a jackpot reward for putting his third paw on it and it didn't take long after that for the fourth foot to follow on. Jussi did really good work this session with a skill that can cause a bit of frustration and was able to get 4 paws on it a few times with lures.||Focus: Foundation||B|
