|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In his first session, Jussi, Goosy, Crowther focused on further developing his skill ‘around’ with repetitions under distractions (toys 1 meter behind cone). We focused on this skill to further improve Mr Goosey impulse control surrounding toys. Jussi performed very well, when a new distraction is added he can loose focus with his trainer, but with some guidance he began to maintain it well. He successfully went around the cone while a pile of 5 toys were his distraction. Next time we hope to increase the level of distractions. We suggest continuing to practise this skill at home.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Trick Training||Comment: In his second session, Mr Goosy focused on further developing his skill ‘hold’ with repetitions within the classroom. We focused on this skill to challenge Jussi with harder tricks to keep his big brain busy. Jussi performed well, he interacted with the pipe immediately, he began touching it with his nose. Jussi quickly began to open his mouth onto the pipe and hold for half a second. Next time the trainer hopes to focus on duration. Continuing to practise this skill at home will help his progress continue to grow.||Focus: Foundation||C|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his final session, Jussi focused on further developing his skill ‘drop’ with duration under distractions (human, ball and dog movement within the classroom). We focused on this skill to continue proofing Jussi’s drop under distractions. At the beginning of this session Jussi struggled to drop, as this appeared to be challenging for Jussi the trainer focused on duration with distractions. Jussi performed amazingly, he did not break drop for any distractions, including multiple dogs training within the classroom. The trainer was very impressed with his progress and how far he has come.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
