|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Desensitisation||Comment: In his first session, the trainer focused on conditioning Jenson to themselves and the lead. Jenson was happy to approach the trainer but created space (moved away) when the lead was presented. The trainer placed the lead on the floor covering it in treats, he happily ate all the treats around the lead. As he was performing well, the trainer began to pick up the lead and move it slightly, he performed well but continue to create space when the lead approached his head.||Focus: Conditioning||X|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: In his second session, Jenson focused on further condition the lead as he was still creating space and showing nervous behaviours when it is presented. The trainer began to use the lead as a target, getting him to touch it. He responded well to this but continued to create space when the lead begins to move.||Focus: Conditioning||X|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his final session, Jenson showed more confidence with the lead and allowed the trainer to put the lead over his head. The trainer spent this session working on both his place and drop skill with duration and distractions (dogs training in the classroom). Jenson performed well, he responds well to the both verbal cue. He can become distracted when the other dogs begin to move, but he redirects his focus quickly.||Focus: Obedience||B+|
