Jaxx's Doggy Dayschool Report

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For his first session we worked on some loose lead practice outside. If in open areas Jaxx is quite nervous and pulls but when walking in more enclosed areas (eg. down the sides of buildings) his loose lead skill is very good. Our focus of today was to get Jaxx to relax outside and work on his engagement with the trainer while walking. Jaxx struggled with his engagement - he would listen to trainer but wouldn't "check in" with them on his own unprompted. However as the session progressed he did become very responsive to his "yes" marker and start looking to the trainer after hearing it which is a good start. We'd like to continue working on engagement with Jaxx as it will help keep him focused on the trainer when he feels nervous outside. Focus: Confidence B
Skill learnt: Conditioning Comment: For his second session we worked on drop duration alongside a groom as Jaxx had a LOT of loose fur. Jaxx tolerated the brushing very well, he only got up once or twice. He seemed very proud of the amount of fur coming off! Focus: Conditioning B+
Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object) Comment: For his final session we finished off with his paws up on the Wobble board. Jaxx is doing so well with this now, he puts both paws on it when asked and is building his duration on it well. Focus: Duration A
