Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: For his first session today Jax worked on his loose lead walking outside. We walked all around the carpark, driveway and cattery focusing on keeping him engaged with the trainer. He got a little bit distracted by people walking past but the trainer was able to redirect his focus easily. Jax is doing super well with his engagement, he just needs lots of practice around distractions. Focus: Distraction B
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: His second session today was spent in the classroom working on his drops around dog distractions. Jax didn’t pay any attention to the other dogs training in the room which is awesome. His mind was solely on the treats and the task at hand! We are able to say “drop” accompanied with a clear hand signal and he understands. His duration is improving lots and you can see the huge progress from when he first started! Focus: Duration B
Skill learnt: Place Training Comment: Jax’s last session today was a little different. We used his place skill that he already knew and changed it up a bit. Instead of using a raised bed we used the large wobble board. We lured him on just like we would for normal place training. He was a bit hesitant to put all four feet on but once he did he loved it. After a few repetitions of luring we were able to transition to just sending him with a point (like we would with place). Jax did really well with this and picked it up super quick, he is such a smart little pup! Focus: Repetition A
