Jasper was a bit distracted today but had good moments of engagement. While he struggled a bit with the basics of drop and sit he did really well with his paws up and place skill.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Conditioning||Comment: For his first session we worked on conditioning Jasper to a new trainer in the classroom. Jasper was very distracted by the classroom environment and while he did come up for cuddles and play he struggled to maintain focus for this skills. He did manage one or two sits and followed the lure halfway into some drops. Keep working on his basics at home, particularly his drop skill.||Focus: Conditioning||X|
|Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object)||Comment: As Jasper wasn't interested enough in treats to follow a lure fully into drop we worked on his paws up skill. Jasper did quite well with this and was confident moving onto the inflated cushion. He was a little distracted by other dogs but did give moments of good engagement. This is a great skill to continue with at home and can help to boost his confidence, especially in the classroom.||Focus: Foundation||B|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: For his last session we worked on the foundations of the place skill with Jasper. He happily hopped onto the bed but would wander off quite easily at the start. As the session progressed he started staying on the bed longer and started to offer sit and drop while on place to relax. Keep working on this at home and build up the duration on place.||Focus: Duration||B|
