|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For session one with Jamie we practiced the skill drop. We practiced this skill in the classroom with dog distractions. Jamie started off a little distracted and wasn’t interested in treats. So the trainer used toys as a reward. By doing this Jamie had all focus on the trainer and had great engagement as well as duration.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object)||Comment: For session two with Jamie we practiced the skill paws up. Jamie did well doing paws up onto buckets and textured inflatable pods. Although he did struggle on the wobble boards. To help this the trainer helped stabilise the board until he was confident enough. By doing this Jamie was able to start practicing paws up on the wobble board with great engagement.||Focus: Confidence||A+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: For session three with Jamie we practiced the skill place. While Jamie was on place the trainer bounced many tennis balls infrount of him. This was too high of a distraction to begin with so the trainer limited it to one and slowly built it up. By doing this Jamie had great engagement and remained on place until released.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
