Today Jamie had great engagement with the trainer but struggled around distractions.

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For session one with Jamie we practiced the skill of drop. We practiced this skill outside with distractions, there were workers mowing the lawn creating a great distraction for Jamie. To start session one this was too high of a distraction for Jamie and the trainer decided to continue the lesson from a greater distance making it less of a distraction. By doing this Jamie had better focus with the trainer and made a great end to session one.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object)||Comment: For Jamie’s second session we practiced the skill of paws up. We practiced this with stools and a wobble board. Jamie did so well and had very high engagement with the trainer. The next step for this skill would be increasing the items or adding more difficult objects.||Focus: Duration||B+|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For session three we practiced the skill of loose lead starting in the classroom and moving to outside with distractions. Jamie did very well in the classroom and outside although struggled when people were around. To help retain his attention the trainer added drops to give him something to keep his focus on by doing this Jamie had better focus with the trainer and continued to do well throughout the session.||Focus: Distraction||B|
