|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In his first session, Jamie focused on further developing his skill 'place' using Red light, green light. We focused on this skill to proof Jamies place while excited and highly aroused. Jamie performed very well, he was initially distracted by the environment (training outside), but with some guidance he quickly began to redirect his focus back onto his trainer. Jamie loves to play, however he will stop straight away when you ask for 'place', when he has good engagement. We suggest continuing to practice this skill at home.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: In his second session, Jamie focused on further developing his skill 'loose lead walking' with repetitions under high distractions (training outside while people, cars and dogs walk past). Jamie performed well, he was initially excited and showed little engagement with his trainer, but with some guidance he quickly began to redirect his focus. Jamie completed several minutes of great walking with excellent engagement. The trainer incorporated 'drops' when walking to encourage him to remain engaged, as well as when there were distractions (including people or dogs). We suggest continuing to practice this skill at home.||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In his final session, Jamie focused on further developing his skill 'drop' with repetitions under distractions (training outside while 2 other dogs were in close proximity). The trainers have noticed Jamie drops in front of his handler, this session was focused on him to drop on the left side. Jamie performed very well, he was interested in the other dogs but remained engaged with his trainer. Jamie progressed well, he began to drop on the left side, he also showed great engagement We suggest containing to practise this skill at home.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
