Jamie did some good work today. He had good focus even around other dogs which was great to see!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For his first session we worked on Jamie's loose lead skill in the classroom around other dogs. At the beginning of the session he was quite distracted and would pull towards the other dogs in the crates. As the session progressed he did settle and start to focus on the trainer even while walking past the other dogs. Continuing to work on his skills around other dogs will help with his reactivity.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Muzzle Conditioning||Comment: For his second session we continued with his muzzle conditioning. Jamie does well with this if there are treats inside the muzzle so we focused on him putting his nose in himself and then being rewarded externally after. He did well with this though needed some encouragement as his beard would take up space in the muzzle and he wouldn't want to put his nose fully in it. He doesn't show any negativity towards the muzzle though which is great as it means he only associates it with positive things which is what we want for muzzle conditioning.||Focus: Conditioning||C+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: For his last session we worked on Jamie's drop skill. The focus of today was getting him to drop quickly at the trainer's side. After a few repetitions with a lure he was able to drop quite nicely with a verbal cue and hand signal fairly straight at the side. He also got a lot quicker as the session went on and was much more focused the more he trained it.||Focus: Repetition||B|
