Jaeger is easily distracted however we made progress with redirecting his attention back to the trainer today.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: The first session focused on Jaeger's engagement with loose lead. He struggled to begin with as he was excited to start training. As the session continued he improved and the trainers were able to add mild dog and people distractions. Jaeger responds best to the stimulating environment when put in a controlled position as it gives him a chance to relax and take in his environment. We would like to focus more on his engagement within distracting environments.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: The classroom was very distracting this session therefore the focus was sending Jaeger to and from place. He did struggle to begin with as he was easily distracted however with repetition he refocused and improved.||Focus: Repetition||C+|
|Skill learnt: Play||Comment: Play is a great way to redirect attention within a distracting environment. Jaeger LOVED mucking around with the trainer and eventually they progressed to the outside environment to try and build more engagement there.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
