Jaeger did well today however was a bit nervous because of the gloomy weather.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: We worked on his loose lead walking outside for his first session today. He wasn’t super engaged for the most part but slowly improved towards the end of the session. He was quite distracted by all the smells but didn’t pull like crazy and would direct his focus back to the trainer quickly. To improve this, loose lead walking should be practiced in less distracting environments. However he still did a good job for his first session.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
|Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object)||Comment: For his second session we started with paws up on a stepping stone however he was not focused/engaged at all. He did it once but that was all, he is quite anxious today so we didn’t want to push him too much! The weather is turning pretty bad outside so we think he is reacting to that. So we ended the second session with some much needed cuddles to calm him down.||Focus: Repetition||C+|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: For his last session he was still a nit nervous so we put him on place with dog distractions in the classroom. He did so well and didn’t leave his place once! By the end of the session he was laying down and much calmer than when we started. This is really good, it shows that he is able to calm himself when in a controlled position.||Focus: Duration||B|
