Jaeger was such a good boy today! He did an awesome job walking outside with the birds as distractions and then finished off with some good foundations towards his spin skill.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: For his first session we worked on his loose lead outside. Jaeger did pull a lot from the kennels but after a few minutes of loose lead he got a lot better. He does still pull a bit but is quite responsive to his markers and took treats well. We also had him do some drops around birds for impulse control which he did really well with (though he constantly watched them)! Still needs some work but he did a fantastic job today!||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Muzzle Conditioning||Comment: For his second session we did a bit of work with muzzle conditioning for our muzzle appreciation week. Jaeger was good at interacting with the muzzle, though he seemed more interested in chewing on it than putting it on! He did well at putting his nose in for treats but then got a bit disinterested after a while so we finished up with his paws up skill which he did great with!||Focus: Repetition||C+|
|Skill learnt: Spin||Comment: For his last session we started work on Jaeger's spin. As well as being a cool trick for him to learn this can also aid towards his recalls by teaching him to move away and then return. Using good engagement and doing further training with Jaegar to increase your bond with him will help with his recalls. With spins take it slow with Jaeger and keep the lure right on his nose otherwise he loses focus.||Focus: Foundation||C+|
