|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Jack’s first session was loose lead walk. He is a pleasure to walk but wasn’t taking treats. The trainer took him near the big yards with active noisy dogs. He was great and did look at the other dogs but showed no other reaction. Awesome work Jack.||Focus: Repetition||A|
|Skill learnt: Recall||Comment: Next up for Jack was touch. Again he was super distracted and wasn’t keen to interact with the trainer that way. He much preferred pats! As there were other dogs having runs in the paddock the trainer decided to take Jack out and do some little recalls near the other dogs. Jack was distracted but not so much a little tug on the lead got his attention and he headed towards the trainer when called. Jack did an awesome job and even when dogs came running up to the fence he was able to still turn and go to the trainer.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Last session for Jack was loose lead walking with a couple of sits and drops. Sits and drops were very few as didn’t want him to be in pain. But once again he came in close quarters to other dogs and although looked at them was still happy to continue in walking with the trainer. A couple of times during the walk the trainer had to change direction as Jack was walking quite fast and pulling. Not as good of a walk as earlier but he did well around the other dogs.||Focus: Distraction||C+|
