2024-01-19

It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Drop/ Down Comment: This session was spent next door at the pony oval, practicing his emergency drops - quick drops as we are walking along. He did well, dropping quickly even though the trainer kept walking ahead. He did get a bit tired towards the end of the session, his drops slowing down a bit. Overall he did well, keep practicing this - working towards quick repetitions and eventually building up to bigger distances. Focus: Distraction B+
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) Comment: This session focused on his loose lead walking around the pony oval. Jack was being a bit cheeky this session, putting tension on the lead frequently and losing engagement. We made sure to change direction frequently and reward good decisions. We would let him have a sniff if he walked nicely up to it - if he pulled it went further away from the nice smell. Focus: Foundation C+
Skill learnt: Middle Position Comment: For his last session we worked on some middles, we practiced this outside around some dog distractions. We lured him through the front, turned around and got him to sit between our legs looking up. He did really well, but did sometimes default to a drop position. This isn’t bad but we were focusing on a sit this session! As he improves you can add duration in position! Focus: Foundation B+

We recommend your next step should be…
