Jack was very excited to start training today! He had great engagement and was loving all the treats!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|We focused on
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down
|Comment: For our first session, we began with drops. Although Jack was cautions at first, he quickly warmed up to his new trainer and was ready to train! He did very well during his drops, not requiring a hand signal or a lure. He was confident dropping with a verbal command and with distance between him and his trainer. Moving forward, we can increase the distractions. Working outside and around other dogs and people.
|Skill learnt: Place Training
|Comment: During our second session, we worked on place outside. Jack loves place - as soon as he sees the place he wants to go to it. While outside, there was multiple dog distractions, car distractions and lawnmower sounds - during all of these distractions Jack did amazing on place! And he kept concentration on his trainer. We also incorporated some greetings into this session. During this, Jack really wanted to go and see his other trainers, although he wriggled around, he stayed on place and stayed focus.
|Skill learnt: Paws Up (on object)
|Comment: For our final session today, we worked on paws up! we started with a regular step and after Jack did really well, we moved onto the wobble board. The goal of this was to improve jacks confidence. Jack quickly gained more confidence on the wobble board. We stabilised the board by placing a foot under one side, so it was easier for Jack to stand on. Moving forward in this skill, we can work on getting all 4 paws onto the wobble board!
We recommend your next step should be…

B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
