|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: The first session was focused on Ivy further developing her skill 'place' on different objects. Continuing to challenge Ivy with her place ensures she had a good understanding of its boundaries. Ivy successfully places on a dog bed, suitcase and a towel, she successfully identified each object as place and did not break until released. Next time the trainer would like to continue decreasing the size of place This would be a fun exercise to do at home.||Focus: Repetition||A+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: This session was focused on further developing Ivy's skill 'bang' within the high distracting classroom environment. Challenging Ivy with high distractions while completing Bang helps proof her skill. Ivy initially struggled with a bang within this environment, however, with some guidance, she began to complete bang. Ivy completed several bangs throughout this session, next time the trainer would like to see Ivy successfully perform Bang from the beginning of the session. Bang is a fun skill to continue practising at home.||Focus: Distraction||B|
|Skill learnt: Middle Position||Comment: This session was focused on further developing Ivy's skill 'middle' outside with high distractions. Challenging Ivy outside helps proof her skills and ensure she will perform within a highly distracting environment. Ivy performed very well! She was focused and engaged with her trainer despite the high distractions. The trainer was very impressed with Ivy and her Middle today. Continuing to practise middle at home in both low and high distracting.||Focus: Distraction||A+|
