Ivar did well today, we were able to make some solid progess!
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|We focused on
|Skill learnt: Place Training
|Comment: We focused on lots of repetition this session, mixing it up between quick and longer durations. Ivar showed some great understanding of this skill but did struggle with the quick trainer movements/distractions. This is something to keep working up to at home, start with slow movements and increase as he improves.
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down
|Comment: We focused on duration with his drops today, getting him into position with a treat lure. Once in position the trainer was able to take a slow step backwards and then release him. Ivar showed some good understanding of his drops but definitely needs some practice building duration - repetition is key! Remember, if he breaks position before you released him, say "uh uh" and guide him back into position!
|Skill learnt: Conditioning
|Comment: As part of our Art Week, we did some paw painting with Ivar. Not only is this just a bit of fun but it is a great way to build confidence with something new and help him feel comfortable with his feet being handled - having a positive experience! He is very proud of his art work! We finished off the session with some loose lead walking outside, building his engagement and lots of turns to keep him guessing!
We recommend your next step should be…
A: Outstanding (90 – 100%) I understand my training, Neat & Complete! Ready to move on to higher difficulty & distraction
B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
