|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: Ivar’s first session was place with dog distractions and he smashed it. He was quite interested in the other dog to start with but then concentrated on what he had to do. Towards the end of the session the trainer really started to move around Ivar and held place well but the movements made the other dog starting barking at Ivar. Ivar ignored him and he continued to hold place!||Focus: Distraction||B+|
|Skill learnt: Obstacle Course (Confidence Building)||Comment: Next up was the confidence course. On the way the trainer had to wait for a Great Dane to be put on a lead in the training yard from his free run. The Dane came running over to the fence. Ivar pulled forward a little and barked. He then stopped and looked at the trainer. The trainer popped Ivar into a drop and Ivar was great. He stayed in a drop while the Great Dane was put on a leash. Ivar wasn’t a huge fan of the confidence course today and after a couple of circuits just wanted to relax in the cool shady place!||Focus: Confidence||X|
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)||Comment: Last up was loose lead walking. The trainer took Ivar up and down a drive where another dog was training near the kennel dogs. It was very loud and distracting but Ivan ignored it all. At one point the trainer and Ivar were surprised by another staff member with a dog about 2 metres away. The trainer put Ivar straight in a drop and he did a great job of not reacting. The trainer waited for the dog to pass and continued the loose lead session. It was fantastic by Ivar. Very please with how he went!||Focus: Distraction||B|
