Indie was so good for the trainer today! While not brand new to her the trainer that worked with her today has had limited time working with her, however this didn’t stop her or slow her down at all and she had an amazing day training’
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

|Skill learnt: Spin
|Comment: The trainer who worked with indie today while not brand new hadn’t done too much with her. So in order to form a good bond and get her locked on for the day the trainer started the day with some spin and twirl training! Indie is fantastic with her spin, being able to do it from both hand gesture and verbal command easily! However going the other way or “twirl” was a bit more of a challenge so the trainer was still luring her for this one. She was even able to do her spin while walking today really impressing the trainer, by the end of the session Indie couldn’t take her eyes off the trainer and was nice and engaged for the rest of her day!
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)
|Comment: For her second session today the trainer wanted to really push Indies behaviours specifically when working around other dogs. To help with this today the trainer did an easy skill she knows so it wasn’t too complicated for her to understand. She was taken to smalls accomodation today where there was lots of loud barking dogs to distract her! She really didn’t seem to like one of the specific dogs as it was in the play pen and very high energy. However the trainer was incredibly impressed by Indie today! The trainer just had to utilise her “uh-uh” marker twice today to get her to realise whAt she was doing was wrong and if she just stayed next to the trainer as they walked past the dog she would be given high rewards! She was so quick to redirect her energy into her training and focus today and the trainer was very very impressed!
|Skill learnt: Trick Training
|Comment: For her final session today the trainer wanted to try something new with her and so started to do some “hoop” training! This is when we lure Indie through a hoop and eventually raise the hoop up having her jump through it instead! However today the trainer just conditioned her to the hoop having her go back and forth through it. But even though it was her first day doing this skill the trainer was actually able to start increasing the height the hoop was at and while she isn’t jumping through quiet yet the progress she has made in just this one session was amazing to see!
We recommend your next step should be…
A: Outstanding (90 – 100%) I understand my training, Neat & Complete! Ready to move on to higher difficulty & distraction
B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
