Indie was a little cheeky to start off with some of her sessions but improved well over time. She can get so excitable but is learning good impulse control.
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|We focused on
|Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull)
|Comment: For her first session we worked on loose lead outside on the driveway and grass areas. On the driveway Indie was quite good - she gave good engagement and while she was a bit distracted by another dog working nearby she didn't pull towards it. She was a bit cheekier on the grass woth more sniffing and a bit more pulling but overall did well.
|Skill learnt: Place Training
|Comment: For her second session we worked on Indie's place skill with trainer distractions and greetings. Initially she would break for the mid-high energy distractions but as the session progressed she would instead choose to sit and drop which is great progress! She did have the odd stepping off so keep building duration and distractions in this skill at home.
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down
|Comment: For her last session we worked on Indie's drop skill. She was a bit cheeky at the strat and was acting like she didn't know it very well but once she realised she'd have to work hard still she quickly improved. We practiced movements around her and greetings - she wasn't as strong as for place but could stay in drop for low energy greetings.
We recommend your next step should be…
A: Outstanding (90 – 100%) I understand my training, Neat & Complete! Ready to move on to higher difficulty & distraction
B: Great Work (80-89%) I mostly understand, Almost neat & complete! Needs practice in some areas. Mild distractions
C: Well Done (70-79%) Some good progress. Needs work, but on my way. Still learning. Low distractions.
D: Beginning (60-69%) My journey is just beginning, I don’t understand just yet. Introduction phase. No distraction.
E: Unable to Progress. Needs major focus, seek further options to assist.
X: Not gradable, the focus was on Enrichment, Socialisation & Engagement.
