It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.

Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!

"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."

Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Spin Comment: For her first session today the trainer worked on her twirl! This is her spin but going the other way. Her spin is strong, she is able to do the skill with nothing but the verbal or the hand gesture (but works best with both together). Her “twirl” however is still being developed, she required a lure today however was quickly making progress during this session, her engagement and how quickly she was ready to work was also really impressive today. This first session was great and she is nice and ready for the rest of her day. Focus: Repetition B
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: For her second session today the trainer did some hoop training with Indie. This is another trick that she is slowly making progress on but gets better with each session. Today the trainer was able to start increasing the height that the hoop is sitting at the how high she can jump through it. Since we are introducing new criteria the trainer took her back to luring through the hoop but was quick to drop this again. Close to the end she did hit the hoop and made it fall which scared her a little, to make sure this didn’t have an effect on Indie the trainer made sure to have her interact with the hoop again and go through a few more times before putting her back in the crate, it’s not the initial reaction that we are looking for but how well she recovers which today was great. Focus: Repetition B+
Skill learnt: Trick Training Comment: For her last session today the trainer worked on a new trick skill she hadn’t done before which was bow. This is when her front end goes into a drop but her read end stays in the air doing a “bowing” motion. Since she is so use to dropping the trainer had to use some barriers in the form of a pillow and then their arm to stop Indie from dropping her rear end to start with. Once she becomes confident in doing this motion the trainer will be able to phase out the barrier but until she has paired a verbal with the skill she won’t know if we are asking her to drop or “bow” so the trainer will continue work on this skill next time she is in. She did so great today and really impressed the trainer with her drive, we can’t wait to have her back in again soon! Focus: Foundation C+
