Skill Comment We focused on Grade
Skill learnt: Crate Training Comment: Hutchys second session we trained “crate training” because the first time we struggled to get him in the crate, this time he did extremely well started off with throwing food in the crate, then telling him “in you go” and he would go in by his self and always rewarding, then towards the end of his session he would walk in by his self and lay down as well. Hutchy did extremely well in this session he was so well behaved and did exactly what we wanted him to do. Next time we would like to see if we can get him to go in by his self at the start of not we will take it back and throw food in there then see if he will go in by his self after that. If you don’t have a crate at home I would recommend one as there perfect for cleaning your dogs down as they know it’s a safe and clam space. Focus: Distance A+
Skill learnt: Ring a Bell Comment: In Hutchys last session we trained “bell” we wanted to do something fun at the end because he was such a good boy. It didn’t take him long to pick it up we got him to put his paw on the bell and would reward him, towards the end he would do it without me even asking. Hutchy is a cleaver and smart boy he picks up any new skill so quickly. Next time we might see if he can put to paws on the bell. Training this at home is excellent for targeting his knowledge, if you don’t have a bell even get a toy that makes a noise and see if he will put his paw or two paws on it. Focus: Distraction A+
