Skill | Comment | We focused on | Grade |
---|---|---|---|
Skill learnt: Engagement | Comment: First session was spent assessing Holly’s current level of skills. She is nicely food motivated and shows good engagement with the trainer. At home work on your reward and non reward markers to strengthen her focus. She did really well. | Focus: Repetition | B |
Skill learnt: Place Training | Comment: Second session we started basics of place training and duration. Holly was a little distracted and didn’t quite grasp the concept that she must stay on place until released. By the end of the session she was showing some improvement. Continue this skill at home. | Focus: Repetition | C |
Skill learnt: Loose Lead (No pull) | Comment: Holly has a beoloise lead walk when she’s paying attention, She lost interest in kibble and would benefit from higher value treats. Try different types at home to establish what works best to build engagement. Practice this skill at home to see real improvement in area of low distraction. | Focus: Repetition | C+ |
