Holly did so well today in her sessions progressed so much with place and drops, we can’t train a dog to not bark when wanting something. When she does this give her a job to do and if she still does it while training don’t reward her, today she didn’t do it at all and it might just be her breed as well
It was a PLEASURE training with your pooch today and we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your goals, skills and improve your relationship.
Your journey does not end here, it has only just begun!
"I trained hard, I played hard! Please find below the skills we worked on and my results. I look forward to showing you what I learnt and working on them more with you!" If you have any questions about the skills we trained please feel free to contact todays trainer."
|Skill||Comment||We focused on||Grade|
|Skill learnt: Place Training||Comment: In hollys first session we trained place with distractions and duration. We did this skill inside as we had two dogs in training and one was playing with the other trainer. She did really well with this skill and didn’t take notice of the other dogs just wanted food. To keep her engagement in bight level distractions, continue to reward her when she’s look at you at all times. Your wanting her to be engaged with you and not what’s going around.||Focus: Distraction||A+|
|Skill learnt: Drop/ Down||Comment: In hollys second session we trained drops inside with dog distractions. Holly did really well with this skill, again didn’t take notice of the other dogs and her duration is progressing amazingly. Practice this at home either front yard or backyard, keep rewarding her to help her duration.||Focus: Distance||B+|
|Skill learnt: Play||Comment: In her last session we trained fetch. Now she shown no interest in any of the toys I gave to her at all, I tried to play with her as well and get her excited she just wanted the treats. So then I taught her spin, sorry I could get her to fetch today, but next time maybe try bringing her favourite toy in and we will give that ago.||Focus: Repetition||C+|
